My work is to utilize my expertise as a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Certified Ayurvedic Welless Advisor to be your personal dot-connector.
The philosophy I bring forth into my practice is this:
So often, the real barrier to healing isn't a lack of intelligence but a misunderstanding of how to apply our sound judgement and reasoning.
I believe this is due to a lack of honest and thorough observation and inquiry of the self.
In other words...
Most of us don't know what we're looking for when trying to pinpoint the roots of our dis-ease. It's not that we aren't really, really trying to help ourselves, we just don't even know what questions to ask to help us reconnect to our wholeness and feel like ourselves again.
My job is to ask the right questions which will, over time, give rise to the answers you've been waiting for.
I feel very strongly that exploring all facets of one's experience is critical to sustainable positive changes.
My curiosity about who you are spans the physical, emotional, energetic, intellectual, social, personal, and spiritual planes of your existence.
I want to see you flourish in every aspect of your life.
The Teacher Student Prayer
There is a mantra we sing in Ayurveda school at the start of every class that acknowledges the other crucial piece of my deeply held belief about this kind of 1:1 work. We know it as the Teacher Student Prayer. It means something like this...
As I hold knowledge, so do you.
As I have wisdom, so do you.
As I can teach, so can you.
While I carry and offer something you may not have, you also hold another key piece to healing that I will never be able to acquire, which is: the deepest possible understanding of You and Your Experience.
In this way, we are both Students.
In this way, we are both Teachers.
May we arrive in time and space together with this understanding, to enable the liberation of our Hearts for the purpose of Healing.
Om,
Peace, peace, peace.
Warmly,
