Deep release, not "deep tissue."

If you've been trying hard, Ava challenges you to consider what might happen if you tried softer. Ayurvedic wisdom teaches us that Sukshma Guna - the Subtle Quality - is the most powerful. Less is more, and is often the medicine we need.

The foundation of Ava's approach to bodywork puts your fascia & your nervous system at the center of all the work we do. This means each session takes less of a manipulative approach to your physical wellbeing, prioritizing instead a deep act of surrender to what your body needs to express, how it needs to express it, and to the intricate threads between the phsyical, mental, and energetic aspects of your humanness.

Ava delivers her practice to you through all that is good, leading with these truths:

"My work is to listen to your story and your body.

My work is to reflect your experiences back at you so you might see them with a fresh perspective.

My work is to hold space for your systems, so that they might soften into the opportunity for release, of their own accord."

When you choose Ava Leben Ayurveda for bodywork, you are investing in care that prioritizes consideration on the deepest levels; fascia-focused integrative bodywork combines anatomical and physiological comprehension with embodied listening and responding to the messages your systems are expressing in real time on the table.

One session at a time, Ava aims to play her part in molding a world in which every body is heard, held, supported, validated, and empowered.

Ava's deepest belief is that hands-on care is healthcare.

Presence is the most powerful form of intervention.

Hands-on therapy is healthcare.
