Ava Leben Ayurveda is owned and operated by Ava Leben Wentzel Shively, a licensed massage therapist in Lakewood, Ohio with a devotion to unhurried care that meets clients exactly where they're at every time they come in for a session.

Deep listening and discernment are pillars of her practice. By listening to your experiences, your stories, and the expressions and impressions your body holds, Ava collects all the information and connects the dots to provide clients with care that is intentional, personal, and practical.

Ava's work is nervous system-centered, using subtle fascia-forward modalities that cultivate a bodywork experience that is more about facilitating and supporting release than forcing tissues to change. By approaching the fascia first, and by operating with the understanding that this mycelial network within the body is incredibly conscious, intellectual, and eager to communicate with us, Ava provides a kind of hands-on healthcare that can't be found anywhere else.

Trainings include CS1 with Mable Sharp (2022) and attendance at the Sarawsati Institute of Ayurveda and Yoga Therapy with Susan Bass (2022-2026).
